Update #2- Boston

This past weekend, Greg and I, went on a quick trip to Boston. Our dental student friends, Todd and Heather had never been so decided to go with them. We'll find any excuse we can to go to Boston because we always have a great time. It's honestly been one of my most favorite things we've experienced while living on the east coast.

Since we were carpooling up there we just brought Julianne with us and left Brinley home with Greg's dad. He was super kind enough to make a special trip here to watch her. I don't think she missed us at all. She had a ball spending one on one time with her Papa.

We left at 5am Saturday morning and got into Boston about 10:30. We walked the freedom trail and had lunch at Faniel Hall. It was the most perfect weather you could ask for! After seeing all the main attractions on the freedom trail we stopped and ate a VERY yummy dinner at a cute little Italian restaurant on the north end of town. It was called G'Vanni's. I wish we would've found this place sooner because I just absolutely loved it! Maybe it was the fact that I was starving by the time we got there but still it was awesome! If we ever go back, I'm eating there again.

Then of course what would be a Boston trip for Greg without going to a Redsox game? His friend Todd had never been, so of course Greg couldn't let him miss out on the experience. Heather and I drove back to the Hotel and put our very tired babies to sleep. Then we stayed up just talking away like girls do until about 11:45 when I went to pick the boys up from the Train Station.

It ended up being a good thing Heather and I didn't go to the game because Todd and Greg scored FREE $90.00 tickets. They rode the subway with these two girls to the stadium (who probably thought they were single because neither one of the boys where their wedding rings because both of their fingers have shrunk since being married) who ended up getting 4 free tickets and they generously gave them two. They probably did it in hopes of making it a date but after a few innings of Greg and Todd not really speaking to them, they soon realized they were not interested and left the game.

On Sunday morning to went to the Temple and Concord then headed back for home! It really was a great little get a way and we had a blast with Todd and Heather.
