Happy "turkey turkey" Day!

I hope that all of your Thanksgivings tasted as WONDERFUL as mine. My Brothers family came to visit us for the week and we truly had a marvelous feast! My brother has turned into quite the chef. He made us the MOST mouth watering turkey I have ever had in my entire life! If was sooo good I could barely come up for air! Everything else was AWESOME too. Thanks Jared, Kristin and Christain boy for making the trek out here. We love you guys!!

Happy 6 months Julianne

Our little angel is now six months old! I can't believe it. We are so blessed to have her. If I had to describe her in one word it would be "delightful." She has the cheeriest disposition and is simply sweet.
I know that I've mentioned how beautiful her smile is, but I just can't get enough of it! She'll lock eye contact, give the biggest smile, and just keep staring and smiling at you without looking away. I get so giddy when she wakes up, knowing that when I go to her crib she'll greet me with that smile.

We started feeding her solid foods about a month ago and she is doing really well. At the begining she didn't quite know what to think and didn't really enjoy the texture, but luckily she outgrew that and is a great eater.
She is still a wonderful sleeper at night. She'll go down around 7 and wake up around 7. She takes about 2 1/2 naps. One in the morning, one after lunch and a short little cap nap in the evening. I wish I knew how much she weighed but we don't go to her well visit for another few weeks.

Her best friend is her sister. She loves Brinley! In fact sometimes when her and Brinley's naps don't line up and I have Julianne alone without Brinley, I think Julianne gets bored. She is so used to having Brinley entertain her. Mom is no where near as interesting as Brinley is. It's been really fun to watch their little friendship develop.

If you look close you can see Julianne's arm around Brinley. Brinley was trying to teach her the ABC's.

We love, love, love you Julianne! Thank you for making our family so wonderful.

Fall Fun

We sure do love the fall around here! We've been soaking up the crisp sunny weather while it lasts. It'll definitely be one of the things we'll miss most when we leave the east coast.

Everyday I try to take the girls on a walk in the stroller. They love it and so do I, but I think miss Juilanne is the biggest fan.

A few weeks ago Brinley and I decided to have dinner outside together! I think we need to do that more often. It was a ton of fun.

This past weekend we had an extra great time because our Aunt Geri came to visit! We love it when she comes! The girls just love her.
Brinley loves it becuase she gets played with non stop!

Aunt Geri brought these cute jammies from Grandma Carole. She loves them. Thanks Grandma!
We took Aunt Geri to Amish country and they had a special petting zoo set up! Brinley was in heaven because she got to feed the animals. It was so entertaining to watch!

After Amish country we headed to Hershey to take a tour of the chocolate factory. Greg and I have been there several times, but haven't ever taken Brinley. The tour is a cute little ride with singing cows and Brinley loved it!

And no trip from Aunt Geri would be complete without her making us yummy pumpkin sugar cookies! Thanks Aunt Geri for the visit!

Update #1- Juilanne

I wanted to give an update on how our little Julianne is doing. She is now 5 months old and doing great! If I could give birth to a 4 to 5 month old, I would probably end up having 10 kids, because I LOVE this stage! She is so much fun.

She is really long like Brinley was and weight's about 15 pounds. She is sleeping through the night- YEAH- and has been for a while now. She'll go to bed about 8 and wake up around 7. Since discovering her little voice, she squawks and squwills all the day long and has a smile that literally melts our hearts! I can't believe what a little sweetheart she is. Her favorite things right now are her being outside, watching Baby Einsteins, playing with her sister, and taking baths! Oh and she finally likes being in the car!!!

We love her dearly!

(Don't worry I gave Greg a haircut the very next day)

Update #2- Boston

This past weekend, Greg and I, went on a quick trip to Boston. Our dental student friends, Todd and Heather had never been so decided to go with them. We'll find any excuse we can to go to Boston because we always have a great time. It's honestly been one of my most favorite things we've experienced while living on the east coast.

Since we were carpooling up there we just brought Julianne with us and left Brinley home with Greg's dad. He was super kind enough to make a special trip here to watch her. I don't think she missed us at all. She had a ball spending one on one time with her Papa.

We left at 5am Saturday morning and got into Boston about 10:30. We walked the freedom trail and had lunch at Faniel Hall. It was the most perfect weather you could ask for! After seeing all the main attractions on the freedom trail we stopped and ate a VERY yummy dinner at a cute little Italian restaurant on the north end of town. It was called G'Vanni's. I wish we would've found this place sooner because I just absolutely loved it! Maybe it was the fact that I was starving by the time we got there but still it was awesome! If we ever go back, I'm eating there again.

Then of course what would be a Boston trip for Greg without going to a Redsox game? His friend Todd had never been, so of course Greg couldn't let him miss out on the experience. Heather and I drove back to the Hotel and put our very tired babies to sleep. Then we stayed up just talking away like girls do until about 11:45 when I went to pick the boys up from the Train Station.

It ended up being a good thing Heather and I didn't go to the game because Todd and Greg scored FREE $90.00 tickets. They rode the subway with these two girls to the stadium (who probably thought they were single because neither one of the boys where their wedding rings because both of their fingers have shrunk since being married) who ended up getting 4 free tickets and they generously gave them two. They probably did it in hopes of making it a date but after a few innings of Greg and Todd not really speaking to them, they soon realized they were not interested and left the game.

On Sunday morning to went to the Temple and Concord then headed back for home! It really was a great little get a way and we had a blast with Todd and Heather.

Singing Brinley

My little Brinley always has a song in her heart! I've tried capturing them on my camera but haven't had much luck with her cooperation. Here is the best one I could get of her singing "latter day Prophets."
