A little project

Last week my friend Margie told me that her preschool was getting rid of kitchen set items. I was so excited because we've been looking for Brinley a kitchen set for a while. So I went with her to pick it up. The reason the school was getting rid of their old set was because they had gotten a new one. That being said they looked a little worn but still worked as good as new.

After picking them up and bringing them into our apartment I decided that these pieces had some potential to look really cute! The next day Brinley and I went to the store, bought some white paint and paint brushes and I went to work! It look me about 3 days from start to finish, but it was a lot of fun and I think they turned out darling!! Just call me Martha!

SUPER CUTE!! That stuff is not only priceless but TIMELESS as well. Totally vintage and totally helps a kid to use their imagination - where as the new stuff takes all kind of batteries and does everything for you leaving no room for the child to imagine and improvise. WELL DONE!
