When I was first pregnant with Brinley I remember going to my Mom's house and seeing a book on her shelf entitled "I am a Mother." I picked it up and to my excitement saw that Jane Clayson, now Jane Clayson Johnson wrote it. Those who know me well know that I have a crazy love and admiration for news anchors. Maybe because I always wanted to be one since I was 11. Anyway, Jane Clayson was one that I always loved watching and have admired for as long as I can remember. I remember a few years back hearing that she left the news industry to become a Mother. I've always wondered what happened to her since. Well now I could find out!
Even though I was so excited to read her book, I decided to wait until I was "really a mother" to read it. Well, now almost a year after seeing the book I finally read it. I picked it up on Friday afternoon and finished it that evening. I LOVED it. I recommend reading it if you are a Mom or just plan to be one day. It made me look at being a Mother and the "role" of a Mother in a whole new way. I've enjoyed every season of my life and have been so blessed to experience amazing things. Though sometimes I feel that this season of my life and what I do everyday is nothing important or significant, it is to the Lord and it is to my baby. I'm not "just" a mom, I am a Mother.

Oh, baby B. I miss her so much! She's getting so big and it's not even fair that I can' be there to watch her grow. Miss you guys!
I'm not sure if you remember this, but the first time I met you I told you that you looked like you could be a news anchor... you must be destined to be one!!
Your right you are a Mother and an amazing one at that. Us Mothers are the best, and it is truly a blessing to be one. I will have to read that book. As for your sweet little girl, she is so cute, and looks so happy all the time. I bet you are just loving it, and trying to hold on to every moment as time passes by so fast. Hope life is good.
Yep you are a mother and to an amzingly adorable little girl also... can't believe how big she is getting...
Great pictures of Boston! (sorry, I'm a post late) It was so fun to be with you guys and thanks again for letting Ty drive up with you guys.
You can Just tell you are a great mother when watching you with Brinley!
I've heard that is a great book!I LOVE that pic of Brinley! She always makes me smile!!!
Your baby is always smiling! How sweet. I will have to check out that book, since I have time to read with only working part-time now. I will let you know how it goes. Don't count on getting my report soon though, since I am in the middle of a couple others. According to Alex, I take forever to do anything these days, e.g. the ironing that had built up for 2 weeks in a pile until this morning when I gave in.
Hi Jenna and Greg, it's Steve and Audrey. Your little girl is darling. How's life treating you these days?
