We had a very fun day yesterday going to New York City. We saw a little bit of everything and the weather couldn't have been better. We took a ferry past the Statue of Liberty

Then we ate lunch in Central Park where Greg almost lost $80 to a guy doing a magic trick. A guy was playing the game "under which cap is the little ball?" after he moved it all around with two others without the ball. Greg just stopped by to watch, and after the guy did it, the person who was playing against him picked wrong. Greg was watching, and he knew which cap the ball was under. Just for fun Greg said, "it's under that one," while pointing. The guy tipped back the cap and everyone around saw part of the ball. The guy then said to Greg "You've won." Then he said to Greg, "You've won $80. Show me that you have $80, and I'll give you $80." Greg, thinking that if he just shows this guy $80, then he will give $80 more to Greg. So, he shows the guy that he has $80. The guy then takes it out of Greg's hand before he could react, and said "under which cap is the ball?" Everyone who had watched knew where the ball was, and that Greg had allready picked it correct. Greg pointed at the same cap as before, but this time when he turned the cap over, the ball was gone! And the guy wounldn't give Greg back his money. Greg was stunned because he had no intention of playing. He just thought that because the guy had told him that he'd won $80 if he showed him his $80, that it would get doubled. But everyone around watching knew that somehow the guy had changed the ball while everyone was watching Greg get the money to show that he had it, after he was told by the guy that he'd won. Greg was mad. Everyone around was stunned too. Greg told the guy, "hey, you know I wasn't playing your game. I had my money in my wallet. If I was playing, I would have had it in my hand." The guy still wouldn't give it back, so Greg made a big sceen around him, calling him a cheater and threatening to get a cop to come and get him for cheating people of their money. The guy realized that Greg was ruining his business, so he gave Greg back his $80. Greg learned never to associate with those kind of guys again.
This picture was taken just before all this happened. That's why we look so happy.

On a happier note, we also went to dinner at this amazing Filipino restaurant in Queens. It was so yummy and very cheap. I think that we will for sure be going back there.
This picture is from the last time we went to New York, but while were on the subject I thought I would share anyway. This is a frozen hot chocolate from the famous little store/restaurant Serendipity. Can I just say that it is famous for a reason. It is the BEST THING EVER. It made the list of my top 5 favorite things to eat. We waited 3 hours for it but it was well worth it. If you ever go to New York this is a must have!!!!
