Julianne's 4th birthday!

I love to celebrate this little sweetie! Julianne turned 4 on the 16th of April, a week and a half before our big move!
Greg had to work the day of her birthday so we celebrated the weekend before at "Uncle Danny's and Aunt Melanie's". We have LOVED being so close to them and LOVE visiting them. They live in such a beautiful area and so close to the beach.

It just happened that Grandma Carole and Papa were visiting as well so we got to celebrate with them too!

Brinley is our ocean girl and played in the cold water the whole time!

Then we came back and all warmed up in the hot tub!

On the morning of her birthday we opened presents before Greg left for work.

My mom and Dad gave her this darling ballerina outfit and she wears it all the time!

After picking up Brinley from School we went to In n Out for lunch! WE had a great time!

Some fun facts about Julianne:
She is a girly girly girl! She loves anything to do with princesses,dancing, dressing up and purses! She ALWAYS has to carry a purse of some kind with her!
She is very good at playing by herself. Sometimes I spy on her and she just is talking away to herself in her own little world. She loves to write her name and play school.
She still longs for the day when she can play volleyball and talks about it all the time.
She loves Sofia the First and sings all the songs!
She is already a hopeless romantic and loves anything to do with getting married and being in "love."
She LOVES to wear my shoes and tells me everyday after I get dressed that I look so beautiful!
She is a wonderful little sister and big sister and we just could not imagine life without this little angel!

All good things must come to an end!

Well its official, we are leaving California. Greg was offered a job in Utah and we just couldn't turn it down. We are so excited to be able to finally be live close to our families again. We've been gone just under eight years! The girls are beyond thrilled and I'm sure McKay won't mind the extra attention either.

Now all we have to do is go to Disneyland as much as we can!

Brinley was finally chosen to be a Jedi!

She got a little nervous, but still got up there to "fight" Darth Vader. Now its all she can talk about and wants to see all the movies!

Brinley Turns 6

Brinley turned 6 years old!!! She is getting so big! She LOVES birthdays and has been talking about turning 6 for quite some time. Every time I wouldn't let her do something, she would say "how about when I'm 6?"

Two days before her birthday, we went to Disneyland. She had always wanted to get a Ghiradelli ice cream Sunday, so we got her one! It was a birthday for all of us, it was so good!

She also started soccer!! She scored two goals her first game! She is loving it!

 On her birthday we decided to keep things simple this year, no BIG friend parties. But I did let her invite one friend. She has this cute new friend named Ellie. They are in the same church class and on the same soccer team. They have a lot of fun together.

Some things about Brinley:
She is a wonderful friend and big sister. I can leave McKay with her in a room and she keeps him happy and entertained while I get something done.
She loves school and is doing awesome at reading! She also loves Math and art.
Like I said earlier she started soccer and loves it. She could run all day. She loves anything to do with being outside and getting dirty. Whenever she goes in the back yard she comes in with dirt and mud all over! Good thing she also love to take showers.
She is very brave. Since we have been going to Disneyland a lot she goes on every ride. Her favorite ride is Screamin' and Slash Mountain.
She also since moving to California, discovered the ocean and goes in even when its freezing! She also discovered that she loves Boogy Boarding!
We love our Brinley so much and so happy she is in our family.

February, lots of visitors!

February was a really fun month for us. Brinley was off track the whole month and so my Mom and Dad came down for a visit. We had a great time with them. We went to Disneyland three of the days and then we went to sunny San Diego.
Of course I don't have very many pictures but when I get them from my Dad I'll post more.

Next, we had Greg's brother Tim's family come down! Its always so fun to see them and all the girls. My kids were in heaven!
The first day we went and met them at Danny and Melanie's and went to church with all of them. The we ate dinner together. Dan and Mel live in a Beautiful place Laguna Nigel. It's gorgeous. Danny took us on an awesome hike over looking the ocean.

That night we slept over at Dan and Mel's, then woke up bright and early and met everyone at Disneyland!
Greg and I felt like it was a vacation for us because for the first time we were able to go on rides together! All the older girls always wanted to take Mckay with them, so it was so fun!
